The first post says it all Shalom, This is the home of the Pittsfield Jew. Sure its neat to read about Jews in Brooklyn who are very observant but how about a not so observant Jew who lives in the Mid West?

Last day of school

Yeah today is the last day of school. I am so tired I hardly know what to write so here goes. There are only two students left in class. My parents are on vacation in San Diego visiting my brother and my dad is attending a conference. My boss gave us harsh orders today. I complied as best as I could. I didn't take any afternoon relax and let go breaks. We lost power again last night. It was restored by the time I got home. We have had a lot of storms. The dogs have not been too upset by them. I went to the Lucky Kitchen. I met that same weird guy again. He was the one telling me about the 7 minute abs from a movie. Tom told me to go to a link on the onion. I tried a new dish, sang fu I think. Singapore noodles curry style. I didn't know it had pork, shrimp and chicken. They took it back and made it with just chicken. It wasn't worth 6.30 plus I put 30 cents in the tip bucket. And 2 cents in the tzadaka bucket. I got a Nebraska quarter from my change at the post office. I sold a book about prisons and other asylums. I am all for the death penalty. I read a serial killer was killed yesterday. I am so glad. It was in Huntsville, Texas. I better hurry up and read Stephen King or something else besides this VB book. My writer style has taken a beating because of it. But the drama and the romance of optimizing VB code is fantastic. I clean the slats on the blinds in the kitchen. Went to bed after that around 12:30. When I got to school I was tired and napped until 5:50. I did a little bit of grading. Been following the news in Israel.

Advantages of writing almost every

The advantages of writing almost every day except Shabat are that I can record amazing events as they happen. Last night we lost power and this morning I moussed my hair. It must be getting longer. Had to shower and shave in darkness, completely skipped all other chores. Went to bed early. Left the dogs out of their dog cages. From now on will do that every night. Dexter is no longer on the terminally ill list. The vet said discontinue all medication. We are weaning him slowly off the valium. I refuse to fight with S any more about the beach. My parents are going to fight it out with her parents. Hopefully my parents can melt their cold hearts. That is what I am praying for. Listened to the weekly ôøùä on the internet this morning. Only 17 more fields don't compare on the 835 program. Dexter is now officially recovering from a slipped disk. His e-ray looked encouraging and an MRI is cost prohibitive. Still plenty busy here at work. So will quickly paste in the ali g links Tom gave me. One is about religion the other about news bias. Very off-color as is usual for Tom's preferences and this particular entertainer.

Monday

It's Monday again. I am sitting here at school with nothing to do but read my VB book. I read some of the Torah Commentary. Still on Leviticus in that one. Up to page 540 in the VB book. Worked 15 hours over the weekend and still struggling to finish the bugs in the 835. My might be gone Tuesday to go on a trip to Ceder Point. Went for a bike ride last night. Went for a walk at work. On the way to school I gave the homeless man a nutrigrain bar. He then asked me for some water. I had none. Last night did some weeding in the garden. Tried to download some pictures of my brother's wedding but the computer was so slow had no success. The girls started soccer camp at Eastern Michigan University today. It is only a week. We all tried to get up early and go to bed early it was partly a failure. I threw out two heads of lettuce. I got to work at 8:50. I went to sleep around 12. And for some reason I woke up at 5:51. But of course I went back to sleep. S must have called me 5 times today. I got frustrated and left work at 4:50. I got to school pretty close to 5. I fell asleep listening to Pink Floyd. The I woke up sweaty. I turned off the music and rolled down the windows and lay there for a few more minutes. Next I recycled a battery. At work I listened to click fm and they played three Pink Floyd songs in a row.

Working again

Here I am at work again. I had to work this weekend. Working on the 835 program. I have 4 fields left which don't match with the HP3000. They are out_total_835_amt, out_payee_bill_tot_claim_count, out_payee_bill_tot_covered_charge, out_eop_id and out_clm_tot_covered_charge. Ok there are 5 fields. Plus the general ledger and the electronic funds transfer reports don't look right. They look like they are not pulling the right data.

I just read the news about the Israeli soldier being captured. Sounds terrible. Earlier my wife called me. I was walking from the other building back to this one. I dropped off a bunch of clive cussler books over there and brought a paper back book back over here. I went out a door in this building and couldn't come back in it. A public safety officer drove by and saw me trying to go in the door. Then he came back and followed me. At the same time S called me. I had to tell the guy to hold on. He idled his engine and waited. We chatted for awhile and finally I told her a public safety officer was waiting to talk to me.

For lunch I had Wendy's spicy chicken filet sandwhich. The company bought me lunch another day from Evergreen's another Chinese restaurant. I am the only one here who likes the Lucky Kitchen. Everyone else thinks it's dirty or unsanitary. Since I got the cr_code_array fields working correctly I plan to go home. I just figured I would blog and then leave. I spoke to my mother and then she sent me and email begging me to fly to the DC and then go from there with my kids to their beach house. I forwarded her email to my wife and she screamed at me about it while I was talking to the public safety officer. I mowed the lawn and used the electric weed whacker. The plug is a pain but it's better than the gas oil kind. Maybe I can buy a rechargable kind. Now that would be nice.

Thursday

Another long miserable day at work. I am so worried we are not going to get all our work completed on time. Still fighting with S about taking the kids to the beach. I was up really late and so now I am tired. Can't remember what I said and haven't said. I have to go in to the office over the weekend. At least they will buy me lunch. My boss and Prabha are going to work on my program on Friday while I am gone to the water park. I walked with the ladies today. I gave Lucy a tranquilizer last night and it really calmed her down. Hopefully the scary storms are gone. Dexter wasn't as upset. We put up a really neat light up talking planets shower curtain. Still no parsha reading last night. Still on page 495 of VB. R our oldest is as stubborn and disrespectful as ever. L got a spanish book. My class just sits here and does their homework. I plan to skim read some more of the VB book. I am really tired of fighting with S about the beach trips. It makes me feel even more like a prisoner, and like I am trapped. A student just borrowed my book. I listened to the whole shlach parsha today at work. It is the one about the report of the spies. One of my favorites since we do a lot of reports. A student just asked a question. Another wanted a form filled out. Had a salami sandwhich on rye. I made it with french's mustard and romaine lettuce. Another student just walked in. Another student just walked in.

Wednesday

I am sitting here at school again. I just graded tons of papers. I am so frustrated with work. We finally got the database restored and now my table isn't there. I have to wrap two books tonight since we sold two books. The boxes I picked up at work for the task are huge. Last night I read a ton of blogs. Notice once I pick up an adjective like ton i never let it go. Been deficient in my parsha studying. Been listening to the amy goodman show some more. The beacon for left wing causes. I am not in favor of either side so it doesn't matter to me. Jews are supposed to be hard core right wingers but some jews are hard core democrats too. I think there should be internet voting and a lottery. If you vote you have a shot at 100 million dollars. Who wouldn't vote? I only vote once every four years because it's such a pain. It is more of a pain on that one day but I usually take a kid with me as an educational experience. My stomach is killing me now. My dad called me at work. I said surprise are you calling me to wish me a happy anniversary. He was calling to nag about the beach trip. I will slip an itineary on S's driver seat tonight. Also there was a storm. So I slept on the couch from 5:30 to 8:30 because the dogs were panting, even after I let them out. I had chinese at midnight and was tired since I went to bed at 1. Then I had more chinese the same leftovers at 4:30. Then I left there angry and frustrated. At least Friday I know I won't get any work done. I am gone to Full Blast water park that day. Thursday is our usual claims payable work group meeting. The status is we suck and are getting nothing accomplished on time. L and R are teaching Z how to read. Even though he is not going into kindergarden this Fall. They yell at him when he gets a word wrong. I bet he bites them soon. L got a new bike from S's dad as a present for learning how to ride a couple of months ago. Z got a new bike too for the same reason. So I have to leave my car out of the garage. I am almost to page 500 of the vb 4 book. My boss gave me another tech review. I hate doing those.

School

I am at school now. There is nothing to do here. The class is pretty much self paced. And I let them work on the computers for about three hours. My Dad and I sent emails back and forth. Hopefully Z, L and I can go to the beach July 28 to August 1. That is assuming S doesn't put the brakes on the plan. She had the plumber come out today. He fixed the kitchen sink drain for $100. All because she put too much food down the garbage disposal. Ultimately it is my fault since I pestered her so much about the beach she got distracted and dropped this food down the sink. I just passed the sign in sheet. One girl has had a couple of questions and that's it. The lab aid will be here at 7:30 and then we can chat. I am still on Chapter 14 of my book VB 4. Finally I got back in the routine with the nasal irrigation, and the hand weights, situps and dog brushing. I got mad at S. And I emptied the dishwasher and put all the dishes on the counter. She keeps the cats' bread baskets on the counter. This is where I put the dishes. Then I cleaned up the living room and let R off the hook for having to clean it up. Naturally S and R got in their usual arguments. We let Dexter stay out his bed last night. After S came down and saw the mess I walked out for a 3 mile walk. This was because I had alot of tension and it was better to use the aggresion on exercise. I would rather bike but that's harder to do from 10:43 PM to 11:37 PM. I went on Textile, to Michigan Avenue to Crane road and then home. Then we both went into the basement and discovered the mess down there. I used the new bulb she bought. Ha ha you only need lights on a steam cleaner if your steam cleaning in the dark. I wanted it perfect so I paid $5 to get a new bulb. Hoover has it on their website but the $2 doesn't include shipping. I also wanted to fix the hood but it costs $58 so skip it. Tonight I might go to Lowes and buy a pooper scooper and a wrench or save the money. The weed whacker is no good and the neighbor said to try to put new gas in with the proper oil gas mixture ratio. What a pain. And he said to replace the spark plug. Finally I want to use the old electric one it was much less hassle.

Monday

I didn't write on Sunday or Saturday night. I didn't feel like it. I actually didn't feel like doing much of anything. I don't feel like writing now but once I get started I usually can't stop. Over the weekend I let myself go. No nasal irrigation, no situps, no hand weights. S called and Dexter is having end of life issues. We are still arguing about me taking the kids to see my parents. I don't mind that she doesn't want to go see them. I don't mind that she doesn't want to vacation with them either. What I do hate is she says I am incapable of taking even one kid. Who made her the boss anyway. I guess I did. But it makes my parents very upset. It's really that loser father of her's fault. He doesn't like me because I'm not ambitious enough. I don't make 150-200K. I am very frugal. I am cheap to a fault. Today at work is very slow. I worked 6 hours over the weekend so we made some extra money. We had some problems over the weekend and S got her friend the Heating and Cooling guy to come over for free while I was at work. With two shop vacs they removed the piece of cpvc which was making a flood of sewage. It was a minor flood. Every time the AC ran it dumped water into the floor drain. If it produced alot of water it didn't drain. I had to go to work and leave the mess. I took L to softball practice and then went to work. Other things of note. I rode my bike Saturday night. Sunday night L had a friend sleep over. I guess it is a good thing I worked over the weekend since little if nothing was accomplished today. Z took apart a shelf and I put it back together. This morning he did it again while S was sleeping and I had to put it back together before I could leave. At work they bought us free tacos from taco bell. I sent S a anniversary card on-line since our anniversary is coming up soon. I almost finished chapter 14 of the VB book. i did some grading of some papers last night and the night before.i really hate to fail any students. but some are going to get points taken off 50% for turning in work 2 weeks late. R had soccer tryouts over the weekend, two days in a row. I know she feels neglected but she really does get all the attention and privileges more than the little ones do. She didn't do well enough to be one the best U11 team so instead she has to play on a lesser U11 team with old team mates from last years U11 team who will be on a combined U11 / U12 team. They don't even get the old coach. L and R are going to a week of soccer camp. L's friend who spent the night will be there. S is trying to get R to make new friends. She feels the private school is hurting her socializing skills and she has been led a sheltered life. Most people would tell S to put up or shut up. Unfortunately R has been going to this school for 5 years and this fall will be the 6th and final year. Only because it doesn't go past 5th grade.

Friday

been working hard all day. The last post bounced so I just back dated it and reposted it. I just talked to S. She has had quite a day. I am trying to plan my weekend work but its all up in the air. I really want to leave early. I have no idea what I would work on over the weekend. I just finished listening to the ôøùä chanting. Its very nice and therapeutic to hear it. I also have been reading Leviticus. I read a page or two, then commentary and then the hebrew all from the Friedman book. My latest news. I was trying to keep tabs on my wife. It is too long and boring. I dropped off R at school. She dropped off L at school. Then she went to Hiller's grocery store. Then she went to the house and dropped off the groceries. Meanwhile Z was busy making a mess as soon as she took her eyes off him. He broke the china cabinet handle. All this was Thursday. Today's S tracking was too complicated. So then she read some emails and they left to go to the same place I dropped off R at school. This is Z's day care. They watch him for free and S volunteer's there. I think she does shopping for the day care center too. She bought some water and dog poop bags for us at gordon food services. Nothing is happening here I might as well leave. It is so hot out. I at least was able to relax and let go three times. I had my noodles and sun dried tomatoes from Hiller's. It is one of those dinner dishes S buys for me. I had a late dinner on Wednesday. I had half my sesame noodles of dinner Thursday. So the food I was gonna eat for dinner last night before class I ate today. So then the rest of S's day was pick up all the kids, L, R, and Z and go home. Then go back out a few minutes later and go to the picnic. Today was the last day of school. So L and R had half days and S had more picnics to go to. Now it is 3:15 and she is home and it is hot out. Tonight L has softball practice and I have yard work.

Miserable Day

Well that doesn't sound very exciting. Who would want to read about a miserable day. My dog is whinning. Why is Dexter whinning? Now he is up here. He is probably waiting for me to eat my food so he can enjoy it by me dropping any.In about 6 minutes when I finish this beer will I have had enough whatever. My stomach was killing me. And now I am cooking mexican. For lunch I had chinese. I was so tired I went and took a nap instead of going to lunch. Blow the old stereo types right out of the water. Sleep before lunch. Sleep after coffee. Never. Never. Sleep in a hot car? Never. Fall asleep for an hour and feel dead? The go out for a lunch break ha ha. I missed taking a walk. My head was splitting and my stomach was lurching. So no lunching did I go on. In class Moana and the lab aid and I talked about UFOs and the end of the earth. When I walked Lucy w/o Dex I saw young people in the play ground park area. I told them I didn't want Lucy to scratch their car and they split. Almost finished with this nice Labatt Blue Light. It has many brothers down stairs. I added to the shopping list soda, regular, cola with cafeine. The toilet just sighed. I smell the food. Because of my long break I forgo the duo afternoon relax and let go breaks. I also popped an eye vessel. No it was more like pulled an eye muscle. The cure for this particular ailment is none other than Acular. Just read a little Torah Commentary. Really pushing myself to finish Chapter 11 programming constructs in the VB 4 prg opt. Still on page 310. A guy asked me in Lucky Kitchen about the light lunch reading I had. So we had a nice chat about his career aspirations. He told me about the 7 minute abs line from a movie I hadn't heard of. I said I was like the guy in the movie who said invest in plastics. Well I thought I would have nothing to say and instead I have to go before I can say more.

Wednesday

Had some instant oatmeal for breakfast. I found a whole box of it in the other building. I was dropping off some books. Looks like our explanation of benefits program blew up. Or you could say aborted, flushed or bombed. Some say flushed, or crashed. I ate some left over chicken and rice around 11 PM. I put curry seasoning on it. This was chicken with vegetable stir fry the family had while I was in school. Monday and Tuesday was evaluation night. Hopefully the students gave me a good score. I mostly sit in class and let them work on their homework. So there really hasn't been any lecture for awhile. The students all seem to want to work at their own pace. I am up to page 300 of the VB book. I read a couple of page of Torah Commentary. The author puts a new spin on the old theme that some sins are between you and G-d. Carol emailed back. She says the program aborted because a record wasn't found. S asked me if I want to cancel my doctor appointment since my blood pressure is low again. I said no since I want my medications I ran out of for other ailments.

Low Blood Pressure

I went to the dentist today and my blood pressure was 122 and 80. S made an appointment for me to see our doctor about my hypertension. The appointment is on July 5 at 8PM in Chelsea. It is about a 30 minute drive. She doesn't look like she is going to cancel it after this good news. As usual the hygienist and I had a nice discussion. My cleaning was at 9 AM. I dropped off R and then took a nap in the parking lot of the dentist. Then I went in and read some of the VB book. I am up to chapter 10 in the VB book. I read chapter 5 of Isaiah and two pages of Leviticus in my Torah commentary book. My boss keeps walking by. There is a picnic here at lunch but I am going to walk with the walking group at 11:30. I won't miss the picnic. I am not very social for parties. My goal is to try and do a blog entry every day this week. I told the hygienist about the books I have read. So now I will try to rank them or rate them.

Apollo 13, Iacocca, The Senator, Flesh and Blood, Loon Lake, World's Fair, Jurassic Park, The Auctioneer, The French Connection, The Fifth Estate,The Auerbach Will.

I am back from my walk. Now I will try and rank these books and go to the picnic. And then get to work.

For the non-fiction in order from best to worst:

Iacocca
The Senator
Apollo 13
The French Connection

For the fiction

Flesh and Blood
The Fifth Estate
The Auctioneer
Jurassic Park
The Auerbach Will
World's Fair
Loon Lake

Monday

Not much going on. I posted on Thursday night and it bounced so I re-posted with the retro date. The Jewish softball team coach emailed me. There is going to be no game this Sunday unless he gets enough players. This afternoon I am to be working on Tidal with Prabha. Work is going very slow. I worked over the weekend and in exchange I get next Friday off without taking any time off. My finger hurts from typing already. I have been stretching every day. Also been moving up to 80 situps. Been doing the nasal irrigation twice a day. It was cold Sunday and the softball practice for L was fun but I was cold. I told one of the parents about the book Iacocca so I gave him the book this morning. I am working on chapter 9 of the VB book. I don't have alot to do so I will be reading my PL/SQL book. I was tired and rested in my car for about 20 minutes before work. Mailed a package around 11:30 for S's nephew. We all went to Waterford over the weekend for R's soccer game. Then we went to Ruby Tuesday's. We got a $25 gift card from the last time we went. They had messed up our order so this was nice to have. Dexter is still terminally ill or we don't know what is wrong with him. The parents from the soccer team gave me a huge bag of books. I listed most of them and dropped off the rest in the other building. The picnic on Friday was really fun. We played tug of war, water baloon toss and I went swimming. We also played bache ball. I went on a boat ride. R and I mowed the lawn with the new lawnmower. I put grass clippings on the vegetable garden. Z learned how to ride without training wheels.

excuses, excuses, etc

My stomach was hurting today. The pain was so intense. First two tums and then two zantac imitations equivalent to one of the real thing. Must be nerves or something. Later had a late lunch at Lucky Kitchen. Had the usual General Tso's Chicken with Hot and Sour Soup. They make a special pot for me without the Pork. They are not sure how they do it either. Sometimes when their not busy they can make the soup. It is a really small place. When the parking lot was crowded I waited in the comfort of my car and Louis Armstrong CD. I laid back with the car parked in the shade and the windows down, key in the ignition and money under my seat pants. I fell asleep. Then very sweaty and late into lunch I got up. The crowd would be dead now. When I got back it was already past time to enter time. My time to enter time into project tracking is 2 PM. Never got to it. Missed the walk at 12:15 too. Was so busy. We had a usual 9:30 to 10:30 claims payable work group meeting. It was run, run, run at work. The stomach ache started around then too. Must have been something I ate. S asked if it's still there and so I took some cvs imitation pepto bismo. After she fell asleep snoring while giving me the third degree about the directions I went back to my chores. I can't find Spencer, he needs his teeth brushed. Oh yeah I had to drink a half can of ginger ale flattened in a glass with the back end of a fork. Dexter still has a cracked back. Lucy got a long walk by me from 10:14 to 10:48. She is a slow walker. This is something like 3/4 of a mile. A big black dog came out of no where. It was in the park. We crossed her path (Sheeba) to her home. She wasn't sure if Lucy was her daughter or not. Lucy's mother was a pure bread black lab. What a coinincidence I was reading the classified's in the bathroom and found out pure bred are still going for around 300-600. Wow. The initial purchase price is nothing compared to the up keep. Dexter's cracked back incident was over to the tune of 437. The plumber came for 75. At least there is overtime at work now. Now that gives them a liscence to micro manager any more. But they don't care when I go in. Oops typing to loud. Better calm down, hypertension. Ahh back to snoring. Finished the movie Fellowship of the Ring. It's pretty consistant to the book. But it's been 28 years. I read the Hobbit just last year and the rest of the Lord of the Ring's series. I prefer to keep the Lord out of my fantasy book thank you very much. OK I give up on Spencer. Hopefully he is ok. Dexter is barking.

Fellowship of the Ring

Got all set to watch this movie last night and fell asleep. Started it on Monday and watched from 10:48 PM to 12:30. So there was almost 1 hour and 30 minutes left to watch last night. Around when Frodo says pity we didn't kill Golem and Gandalf says pity saved him. Don't be so quick to kill. Tolkien had a good message for us. Then I passed out. Then I woke up and decided to go to bed. Here are some excerpts from my Franklin Planner since I have neglected to record them here. May 18 - Angry at S about my parents. Friday May 19. Stayed up to late trying to work. Blackboard checking student status in the class e-mail about a package that was sent. Monday May 22 got a new lawn mower. Thursday May 25. Forgot chapstick, and handkerchief. Found my handweights.  Tuesday May 30 9:15 read email and it wore me out. Forgot pills, glasses and handkerchief. Wore short it's so hot. Been wearing them every day since then. Wednesday May 31. Bill lost a2_code_detail. a2dev01a I found it. Prabha wants proj03 account password. Ken wants us to work faster. Ken wants us to get the Tidal piece working. Thursday June 1. Got a new fob. This is a key for the rooms at school that works by computer signal. Friday June 2. Throat hurts tired work up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep. Same thing happened Friday night and Saturday night. Monday June 5. Tom wants to tell me something at our next break. Finished Iacocca. S called wants pole in gargage to have padding. Wants shower head cleaned. Last night I brushed the dogs and did 80 situps. The plumber is coming tomorrow. S got the oil changed on the van. Today S is at L's school handing out popsicles and reading stories. Friday night is the softball for L's kickoff picnic. Also have a picnic at work the same day. Discovered my past tense verb flash cards are gone and the present tense ones are so easy ñåôø ñåôøéí ñåôøú or sogare, sogireem, sogeret, sogerowt. Notice without the vowels sogeret and sogerowt are spelled the same. It's the future tense ones that are so difficult.

Catching up

  • Iran receives anti-nuclear incentives (AP)
  • Terror suspects due in Canadian court (AP)
  • Police find 9 severed heads in Iraq (AP)
  • Doctors remove 3rd arm from Chinese baby (AP)
  • Abbas extends deadline to Hamas over referendum (Reuters)
  •
Above are the yahoo top stories. The 3rd arm story looks interesting. It's not that I don't want to write it's like this. I use computers all day at work. Then I go to school and use them there. And then I have to go home and check email from students and grade papers on the internet. By the time I have free time the last thing I want to do is use the computer for pleasure. When I get to yahoo to send a blog I see the top stories. Sometimes there is an email to read if someone puts a comment up. I love comments and don't get many but that's ok too. I know there are people out reading. When I get to work I have major work to do. But it's so easy to screw around here. For example below are links Tom sent me. One is a video about Israel. It's encouraging men to come there because the women are beautiful. The second is about an Indian convenience store clerk who stereo types and insults every customer in his store.I have to check email to get these links. There is one email. It is about the team building on Friday. On Friday at 11 AM the whole department is going to a lake and jump in it. We will be playing bache ball and other fun activities, hamburgers and no work all afternoon. Even contractors are invited and they get paid the regular day.It was an email from another guy thanking another girl for doing all the organizing. She did alot of emailing and other stuff we probably don't know about. For example she got us all parking passes and maps to the park. My boss walked by. Then I took my pills and walked all the way to the other side of the building to brush and floss. I will fax this stuff for S soon. Then I had a big long fantasy day dream about the fax on the way back. Then I ran into my boss and he wants me to work harder and faster that's about the summary of it. Then my phone rang. I let the voice mail get it. Then I had to turn my phone off to check the message. It was a wrong number to my cell phone. So now it is late and I must paste the links and run.

    Listing books

I listed a book tonight. It retails for $65 and someone threw it away at school. So I listed it today. I found it yesterday and today S made me list it finally. I am up to page 160 or so of Iacocca. Now I am tired from all that reading. Earlier I made S put some cream on my back where it hurts. Right now my throat is hurting but I haven't complained about it except here. Work was so hard and demanding it's hard to break away and write sometimes.Today I listened to the chanting online. Perhaps the chanting helped me today. There was alot of G-d spoke to Moses and this is what he said. I recognize that line in Hebrew. But my boss asked me if it was the Yiddish phrase man plans G-d laughs.I was thinking about The Source on the way to the post office on Tuesday May 30. i was thinking about how much research goes into a book and I remembered how much Michner puts into his books. I found a book by him at school called Sayanora I put it on my classic shelf. I read the book The Source and it was a funny story. I was reading it for a book report. I was determined to get a good grade so I choose this long book. And I did get the best grade I ever got. I misspelled a word and was deducted three points. The word was Israel. I spelled it Isreal. This was back when I was 13. We had the four sentence book report format. We also graded each other's and then the teacher graded it. 97 out of 100 was pretty good though. Also I am hungry so I am getting some oatmeal now.
