Halloween

Believe it or not. (Jonny seems to favor that phrase lately). The girls Lorraine and Alberta are missing religious school. Jonny is up to page 61 of The Messenger. He finally figure it all out. He like to look at amazon book reviews. Crichton wrote Jurrasic Park about 16 years after The Great Train Robbery. Not important you say? Well moving on. Jonny is sleepy today. He finished watching the movie. Back in the Day. 1800Sell now just sent an email.

sleepy

Jonny is falling asleep. There isn't much to do here. He has read up to page 42 of The Messenger. It is a good book about Israeli secret service organization. The new kitten is making everyone tired. Jonny's father wrote Jonny an email complaining about sending the kids to visit Virginia. Jonny did his usual routine last night even though it was very late. He didn't have time to watch a movie. Angelina is complaining about getting the names for the guest list for the Bat Mitzvah. Jesse has wet the bed two days out of three now. The furnace guy came out and now there is water in the basement. Angelina got her fixed van back. But there was no air in the tires. She had a screaming fit this morning yelling at Alberta for her lack of respect. The dogs are scared of the kitten. The furnace man is coming back out to look at the leak. Also the washer hasn't been fixed yet or has it? Jonny only stretched here in Hotel California once. The setting is 3000 key strokes and he hasn't typed nearly that many since noon. As a matter of fact he is sitting here watching training videos and falling asleep. At three he will particpate in a live training video. This one will be via a conference call. Jonny was reading some Parsha emails. And looking at the three blogs: styx, bec and aidel. Believe it or not she is back.

not exciting

This blog isn't exciting. Jonny is on page 6 of his new book that Lorraine picked out for him. It is called The Messenger by Daniel Silva. This book is definitely about arabs, Israelis and the middle east. The family didn't go to services over the weekend. Jonny finished The Great Train Robbery and it was 281 pages. He is in the middle of chapter 40 of Isaiah. Last week he called and wished his brother a happy birthday. Jonny's parents are mad at Jonny because Angelina won't let the kids go for a visit. Alberta was at a retreat over the weekend. Lorraine had a sleep over birthday party. Jonny gave Lea the book No Safe Place. She will give it to her husband. Jonny listened to this book on tape a couple of years ago so he doesn't need to keep it to read it. At 10:30 there was the usual meeting here on Monday's at Hollywood. Penny is now under control with her problems over at Hotel California. Instead this weekend Angelina picked up a new kitten. The kitten's name is Graser. It ryhmes with fraser like the bar or tv show. Leo the other cat is warming up to him. Lucy and Dexter the dogs are a little bit scared. Jesse had his last soccer game. Many videos were taken of him defending the goal. He has gotten good at the sport. Afterwards there was a pizza and beer party. Last night Jonny started watching the movie Back in the Day.

flu shot

Page 256 of The Great Train Robbery. Jonny went to the Flu Shot study and they were full. He provided the report for Penny. Penny has been quite cool to him. Jonny told Angelina he was offered extra money for a better Flu Shot study. There goes the stretch bell again. Jonny set it to 3000/3000 key strokes or mouse clicks which ever comes first. It had gone off after only 45 minutes this morning. So he increased it from 1500. Jonny went to bed at 12:15 another 15 earlier than the night before. You have to do these things incrementally. The software to stretch is stretchware. Jonny called 1800sellnow and gave them a piece of his mind. He went to Wendy's and had a double burger no cheese. He also brought his own coke. So Jonny got onto the bus on the way back but it is raining and the bus didn't go the correct way. Alberta is going on a retreat this weekend. Jonny was playing with his candles, doing school work and his routine last night. He has managed to do sit-ups and stretching and nasal irrigation again. Angelina is still driving the rental car/minivan. She has an Alheimerz interview set up soon.

Umbrellas not as good as a dry day

Jonny is up to page 229 of The Great Train Robbery. Today he had Thai Chicken with noodles. It costs 5.99 from the produce station. He had training this afternoon, a meeting in another building in the morning, another meeting here in Hollywood and a final chat and lunch with the guys. Then he worked on this report for Penny. She is all upset it is taking so long. Now he has to report his findings and what isn't working, what he suggests, and how much time spent. So far it was maybe 10 days spent. Yesterday he picked up Lorraine and the rest of the car pool at religious school. He called his aunt too. Jonny's aunt had to go to the emergency room. She had a CT scan and they found a mass. Jonny's cousin is a doctor and told he she will be fine. She was home later that night. She sounded angry on the phone.

 

Here are the four things that depresses Jonny. Think philosphically about this. What do umbrellas, flash lights, cell phones and lap top computers and why not throw in alarm clocks too, have in common. This isn't the same thing as laundry machines though. Clean clothes are still better than dirty clothes but all clothes get dirty and clothes were meant to be worn at least 200 times. So maybe that's the rub huh? Wash your clothes using modern methods and they wear out faster. Who is all for the river style washing of their clothes? (Jonny's hand isn't raised).

High Morals

Things are going well here in Hotel California. Jonny has a meeting with Lea in another building neither Hotel California or Hollywood. I'm not quite sure its nickname an it doesn't matter at this point. Jonny has been keeping to the routine well. He got the kids bathed and put to sleep. After a long day Angelina is pretty tired. She got the new van. Today Spencer's ashes are available. Angelina went to Jesse's school. Jonny has just received an email. Surprise Hotel California is operating (ha ha ha) at a high rate of occupancy. Firefox just alerted that the new version is available. Everyone is conspiring to not finish this entry. It needs a subject too. How about sleepy. No that is an old story. Jonny stayed up late eating salsa flavored corn chips and reading TGTR. He is on page 200 already. Even though it isn't moralistic time to stretch - there done. Oh yeah well you can't help but root for the bad guys. Speaking of morals Jonny has read chapter 38 of Isaiah last night. He also played with his candles.

Spencer

It is hard to sit here and write something. Jonny is all wrapped up with work and learning new things. Angelina got in a car accident a week or two ago. The front left of the minivan is dented. So she has to get the body shop to do the exchange of cars today. She has to get it authorized. Angelina is Jonny's little errand girl. It wasn't her fault. She went inside a day car facility and when she came out another driver hit her legally parked car. What a fool. Also Angelina is busy with the washing machine. It has a problem it leaks out the front of the front loader model. This is probably a leaky seal. They will have to come out from the bosh washer company to fix it. Free because Angelina bought for $140 a warranty for four years - wow must have typed another 1500 key strokes already. Also Angelina had to put Spencer the cat to sleep. She probably will be coming home with the ashes today. He went back to the vet on Friday. It seems he was doing worse and they choose to end his life rather then ruin his quality of life. Jonny is up to page 120 of The Great Train Robbery. He called his brother last night.

Monday

Jonny is back at Hollywood. He took a nap in his car this morning. He was rudely awakened by a car parking into his car. The driver honked the horn. Jonny got out and there was no damage so he got up anyway. Jonny was up late getting a homework assignment ready. Today he doesn't have much to do because Lea seems busy. She passed him on the road on her bicycle. He was gathering a house flyer. The house on Shadford goes for $600. That reminds Jonny he was going to try 1800SELLNOW. They had a showing over the weekend. So much cleaning for ten minutes of a showing. No offer yet. Supposedly one of the houses in the neighborhood sold for $164. It still has a sign out saying $179 but who knows. Friday Jonny was really bored. He read the styx and becs universe. He is up to page 80 of The Great Train Robbery. Jonny and Alberta went to services. Afterwards there was a kiddush because there was a Bat Mitzvah. The girl did a Moroccan trope. Unfortunately her voice was so faint it was difficult if not impossible to hear most of it. Jesse had no soccer game. The rabbi's sermon was about the moon. Since Lech Lecha talks about the famous Rebbe and his moon prayer on the raft everyone talks about the moon. The rabbi was talking about the new book about the 1969 astronauts. Time to wrap it up and do some work.

Lecha Lecha

Page 22 of The Great Train Robbery. Spencer the cat was taken to the vet by Angelina. He was constipated and they gave him an enema for $300. Last night Jonny and Angelina were up to 1:30 AM with him. Spencer was pooping behind a desk. It is impossible to get back there too. So now the whole house stinks. Jonny still has a pain in the neck and it is starting to move to a pain in the ass. Before that it was a migraine pain in the brain. Yesterday Jonny read the Rabbi Biggs email about Lecha Lecha. Tomorrow the Rabbi will probably give a sermon on this week's parsha. It is interesting because of the prayer for the moon. The legend of the first Rebbe wanting to say the prayer for the moon and the raftsman not wanting to stop the boat. Lorraine needed help with her math homework. Jesse played with his new lego toy which he got for being so good at the hospital. Jonny got a new head set but it doesn't plug in properly to his cell phone. Today he is back in Hotel California with not much to do and a sleepy attitude. He did 9 job applications for Angelina last night. Jonny also played with his candle. Rob said to make a list of the reports to do, the site requesting them, the effort and of course what the report is. The outstanding report is a blood bank repository. Jonny estimates 3 weeks. Time to stretch.

CT scan

It is almost lunch time. Jonny had to go to a meeting at Hotel California. Now he is back in Hollywood. Of course he is waiting for Lea to eat lunch. Jesse had a CT scan of his nose on Monday and a Cardiological appointment on Wednesday. So Angelina is very tired from the whole ordeals. Starting Saturday the family will be participating in services. How long will this last? Jonny has to help the kids with homework again. In the meantime Lorraine picked him out The Great Train Robbery by Michael Crichton. He finished If Tomorrow Comes yesterday. Jonny walked to his car where it was parked. It was parked by the temple. Then he took the carpool home. Lorraine had to have gum. The children like to listen to And She Was over and over again. If Tomorrow Comes is 408 pages long. Jonny was playing with his candles again last night. Angelina threw them out but he fished them out of the trash.The migraine headaches vanished and in their place are a stiff pain in the neck. Jesse has a benign heart murmer and gunk in his nose so that is the end of that.

hospital

This entry was supposed to be about a lego hospital but somehow it got delayed. Last week Jonny stayed up late to work on Jesse's lego hospital and then he was majorly tired. The days are blending together. When he is over at Hollywood he is too busy working on Penny's stuff to help Lea and learn her job. So Rob said to make a list of all the reports. Jonny is lazy. He did read chapter 36 of Isaiah. He also read the Rabbi Biggs Noach email and the Fax of Life Noach email. They are pretty much a repeat of what was said last year but who can remember that far back. He is almost completed the book If Tomorrow Comes. Right now he is up to page 372. Over the weekend the family had an open house. Jonny called his mother last night and she said he should make sure the kids know his parents exists. At 3PM Jonny will be doing some training. He bought headphones on ebay and they were broken so new ones are coming. He also bought a cell phone head set and it hasn't arrived yet. Jonny has been lazy. These migraine headaches are killing his motivation. No motivation to do sit-ups or to do stretching or nasal irrigation. He did play a little zork on line. That is a text based adventure game from the 80's. It isn't really online it is just a java program you have to be connected to the internet to play it. The stupid computer wants Jonny to stretch again. How can it be 1500 key strokes already?

Angelina is busy getting ready for a home showing tonight. The showing is at 7:15 PM. What a mess. She is really angry about it. Jonny told her to call one eight hun dred cell know. But she is reluctant to give the house away. Jonny has been working on his routine. His weight is 150 and holding steady. He walked to Hotel California again today and back and forth yesterday. He had to meet with Penny's predecessor. She had been in this position for 7 years. The stretch program just came on. Twice in one hour. This is for the minimum of 1500 keystrokes or 1500 mouse clicks. Jonny was grading papers. Last night Jonny replaced and electric outlet. The night before he fixed a pantry door. Last night he read some of the introduction to the chumash. Now he is on page 117 of If Tomorrow Comes. He also has read Rabbi Biggs and Fax of Life both are chasidic commentary. At work Jonny has a meeting with a his boss Rob and a few other people. Well it is almost lunch time here. Jonny's new headphone came and they look great. He'll bring them to Hollywood tomorrow, if tomorrow comes (just kidding).

Hotel California

Jonny is back at Hotel California and drinking his morning coffee. There is a pot luck scheduled for next Tuesday at lunch time. This is to celebrate that the radiation machine has been fixed. Penny was here earlier and she has a meeting set up for Jonny with a Doctor to go over a report. Yesterday Lea wanted Jonny to help with some of her work but he couldn't. He is up to page 70 of If Tomorrow Comes. Last night he helped Alberta with math homework. Today he sent pictures to his mother. Maybe he should send a bunch to his Aunt. Today Jonny took a long walk to work and was about ten minutes late. But he hasn't done much since he got here. He forgot to bring his book. All that praying really helped. Jonny read one chapter of Isaiah and yesterday Angelina brought home two Jewish books. They were given to Alberta for her upcoming Bat Mitzvah. One is a chumash and the other is a sedoor. Jonny was thinking about buying another chumash. Now he doesn't have to he can read this one for a couple of years just like the last one he bought a couple of years ago called Torah Commentary. The stretch reminder came on so Jonny has to go.

A hot weekend

Jonny couldn't get connected on Saturday night. So as the connection was dying he was reading Isaiah. Jonny read chapter 35. He is here in Hollywood again. The family took a lot of pictures. Alberta had a soccer game and they photographed it. They knew the batteries would eventually die. Jonny didn't hear from his parents all weekend either. He did finish reading The Street Lawyer. It has 452 pages. Now he is reading Sidney Sheldon's, If Tomorrow Comes. At this point Jonny is on page 28 of ITC. Gosh this Hollywood coffee is good. Lea is here and want Jonny to work for her. Also over the weekend Jesse had his religious school consecration ceremondy. This is an important part of the religious school program and is for the gansters and kita aleph. All the parents were there and Jonny took a few pictures. Jesse was singing very nicely. Lorraine and Alberta were there too, with their Kita Daled and Kita Vov classes respectively. Jesse had a soccer game and it was very hot. Jonny brought in a plant and some pictures to here in Hollywood. They're in frames and one is from before they got engaged. The other is when the oldes was 6. The third is when the oldest was 10. Finally there is a computer printed picture on photo paper. It has the younger ones on the older ones lap. Lorraine is reading. Lea thought Alberta was reading. Jesse has a cheese stick in his mouth. Jesse is getting a CT scan for his nose problems real soon. Jonny caught some students cheating. He planted an apple tree a week ago and it is doing OK. Well got to get back to work now.

Friday

It is about 9AM and Jonny has to get moving on the new utilization project. Penny has been in the hot seat for this every since Jonny started. But she called Jonny and Lea over at Hollywood. Now Jonny is back at Hotel California. Penny had a conference call with them late in the afternoon. Oh before I forget Jonny finished reading The Partner 468 pages. He started The Street Lawyer and is on page 388 already. He emailed Angelina's parents multiple times and they never replied. Penny hasn't gotten here yet. Jonny has had a two day migraine. Today he feels better but lacks sleep. He walked from the corner of Ferdon and Norway to Hotel California in 22 minutes plus another 8 minutes to get here. Today the people in Data Management are probably having a carry in lunch. Jonny has started and stopped a new routine, stretching, nasal irrigation, situps and neck exercises. Also dieting. But the last two nights he fell off the wagon. He was up late last night looking on ebay for headsets and headphones. The one from Circuit City falls out of the ear and no one can hear the mic. The one on ebay is 4.99 plus shipping for 9.50. This one has a mic and a ear clip. The autostretching program beeped, time to stretch at work. It is a program attached to the PC. Jonny caught two students cheating. He hates to fail them so he might send them a warning email and that is it. The headphone for the computer at work is 9.99 but only has a four foot cord. Jonny wants an 8 foot cord but 4 feet might be ok.

Jonny planted an apple tree over the weekend. He went to Lowe's and purchased the winesap dwarf apple tree for 10.99. He also purchaes one bag of 1 cubic foot of scott's top soil for 2.09. The total purchase with tax was around 13.98. Jonny of course used his visa. Today he rode the bus to Hotel California. His boss Rob wants him to come up and visit. Jonny had a meeting with Penny around 10 so he went upstairs to see Rob after the meeting at 11:30. He was back down here by noon. For lunch Jonny had a turkey sandwich. He also had some spicy thai chips. Jonny has made it to page 200 of The Street Lawyer. He plans to begin three more novels. The plan is When Tomorrow Never Comes or something like that. Also Erin Brockivich The Book of Nines and The Pelican Brief. Lets give John Grisham another third chance. He has been arguing with Angelina about having Lorraine and Alberta fly to VA. His dad sent and email and his mom sent an email. Perhaps they can visit them December 19 to December December 28. It would be only fair since they visited Angelina's parents for a week in August. Oh well, life is complicated isn't it.

Adding users

Jonny gets to add users to the Hotel California system. So his job is like admin. Jonny is finished with the book TP. He went to Saginaw over the weekend for Alberta's soccer game. She was all moping about soccer. Jonny's mom yelled at him about grand parents rights. Then he spoke briefly to his brother. Later he spoke to his Aunt. Now he took a nap at the field and later the girls and the dads went to Circuit City. Jonny bought a new headset so he could call his parents. What a good son. But they don't see it that way or do they? Jonny has a meeting in lets call it Death Valley with the person who used to do this job a long time ago. Now he is a going to a staff meeting. Then lunch and then the meeting. Then back here to Hollywood. He started a new book on Saturday called The Street Lawyer. It is also by John Grisham. He is already onto page 100 of that one. Lea wants him to learn her job but this guy from Hotel California emailed at 9 and wanted users added to the system. Over the weekend Jonny did vacuuming and steam cleaning. The soccer group went to TGIF and their service was much better than the one on Kalamazoo. Jonny was up late over the weekend mofiying a form for work and emailed the help desk this morning.
