A day at the movies
By now most people have heard. Here in Ann Arbor, there is movies being made. On Monday when Jonny was walking to Sweetwaters cafe to be stood up for a meeting he passed by the movie set. He passes by it when he drives to Hollywood too. Today was no exception. He makes a right off Packard onto Main. Jonny goes one block north on Main and makes a left on William. William goes down a hill. On the way down the hill he passes Ashley, the one way street is headed to the right. At the bottom of the hill is a First street. After crossing the railroad tracks there are parking lots to the left and right. This is the flood plain. First street has a stop sign and is a one way street headed to the left. On the right is security. The street is blocked off for the next two blocks. It is blocked from William, Liberty and all the way to Washington. So maybe next week when Jonny goes to Sweetwaters for a meeting on Monday he'll take a peek. But today they were lighting a fire in the street. Sounds exciting.
Last night Janeane came over after dinner. She walked with her two children from Zsa Zsa's house. They are leaving Ann Arbor this weekend, her and Michael. Alberta stayed home. She is scared to cross Packard on foot. So they all went to Dairy Queen, which is just across the street from their house. Jonny got a pecan cluster small blizzard. Angelina brought back a brownie something to Alberta. Jesse had a cone. Lorraine had a oreo mint blizzard and the rest is in the freezer.
Michael didn't show up last night, too much work to do. He apparently doesn't have a cake job as much as Jonny does in ACHO. Speaking of hospitals, Jonny watched an episode of scrubs last night. It was funny and cheered him up a bit. He woke up beat this morning. Since Lea is on vacation Jonny is thinking about walking back to his car and taking a nap. This morning he was sending a fax for Angelina. One went through the other didn't. He was listening to the parsha maseis but it didn't make much sense. The main lesson was that the parsha recites the 42 places the Jews wandered in the desert. This is to show that the wanderings weren't really that bad. They were bad and the Jews had committed a het to earn them, but they weren't that bad. That is why they are repeated in the Torah.
