not to be completely ignorant, but where in michigan is pittsfield? (i'm in the middle of packing to move and all of my atlases were packed weeks ago.) i spent some time in the UP a few summers ago with a bunch of dem dar yoopers, but that's the extent of my michigan experience.

Its under the belly of Ann Arbor home to the University of Michigan. Its Pittsfield Township. It stretches the length of Ann Arbor South of I94. In my opinion most people associate Pittsfield Township with the part off the Ann Arbor Saline Road Exit. When in fact there are actually three exits State Street and Michigan Avenue.
